Lex frowned, sensing the doctor's curiosity."Ask."

Lex looked up from Chloe's face, anger burning in his eyes. "Someone made a choice - the wrong one."

Helen dead. Chloe paralyzed with one foot in the grave. Lana alive and unhurt.
