Reading lexcorp_hope's Bludhaven Script has my Chloe as Oracle muse puttering about. Why? Dunno. Guess she finds the idea of an alternate self meeting little Robin (she can't help but be amused by Dick becoming Nightwing. She tries to be serous about it but...she can't help a few grins) stimulating.
"I'm sorry, Dad," the words are softly spoken but a blessing to the dying man's ears, "I couldn't come before now. It wasn't safe."
On wheels, Oracle's approach was noiseless. Taking her father's hand, she leaned in, smiling sadly. "I know it was hard....not telling him all these years but thank you."
He smiled, trying to speak, but she stopped him. "You were always protecting me, no matter what..." She smiled through her tears. "I never really understood that before...I do now."
His grip tightened, his mouth forming words.
Chloe blinked away more tears, "I love you too."
